Meetings are held for parents prior to their child’s admission to school and regular parents’ evenings are organised. Parents are always welcome to see the headteacher or other members of staff whenever necessary by appointment. Parents are asked to sign the home/school agreement when a child joins the school.

Parents receive a written report on their child’s progress towards the end of the summer term. Parents also receive their child’s targets in maths and English. Parents are welcome to attend the daily assembly and to help in school or on educational visits. Anyone interested in helping in school should see the headteacher or their child’s class teacher. There is the Friends of Kenmore Park to which all parents/carers automatically belong.

If parents have a concern or complaint they are asked to contact the class teacher in the first instance and if the issue is not resolved then they should make an appointment to discuss the matter with the headteacher. A copy of the school’s complaints procedure is available on request. Further details of school and LA policies are available in school reception for parents to see on request.
